Classical Homeopathy
Homeopathy is a highly effective and deep acting medicine that resolves symptoms when nothing else can. It is one of the most underrated of natural medicines. Dr. Rebecca practices classical homeopathy, which is a highly individualized and truly holistic form of medicine that does not suppress symptoms or cause side effects. It has been used around the world for hundreds of years and is based off the laws of similars—what a substance can cause, it can cure.

Herbal Medicine
Herbalism is one of the oldest forms of medicine. It is the art and practice of utilizing plants and their specific constituents to facilitate healing and enhance the body’s functions. Natural compounds from plants called phytochemicals have properties that initiate precise physiological changes leading to the prevention, alleviation and even cure of disease. Herbal medicine is more than just matching an herb for a condition and best results are seen when working with an experienced practitioner.

Supplements
Nutraceutical therapy provides concentrated nutrients that could be missing or insufficient in a person’s diet. Supplements contain vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, essential fatty acids, herbal extracts, and other ingredients. They are best used when therapy is targeted with specific biochemical action. Dosages of nutritional supplements vary widely and require precision not only for optimal use but also for safety.

Nutrition Counseling
Let medicine be thy food, and food be thy medicine. The connection between food and health has been linked since antiquity. Since every human has different needs, there is no one universal diet that all were designed to thrive on. Identifying unhealthy dietary patterns and/or food sensitivities frees up the body’s energy to heal. Dr. Rebecca provides highly personalized dietary recommendations for all her patients.

Lifestyle Coaching
Dr. Rebecca works with patients to improve daily habits such as physical activity and other broad lifestyle behaviors to build healthy practices that address root causes of their symptoms. Lifestyle coaching incorporates a fundamental principle in naturopathic medicine—to identify any underlying cause of illness and remove any obstacles to cure.

Hydrotherapy
Humans have recognized the therapeutic potentials of water for millennia with roots in ancient civilizations such as Greece, Egypt and Rome. Hydrotherapy, or water cure, involves a broad range of approaches and therapeutic methods that use the physical properties of water, (hot, cold, steam, ice), for healing. Increased blood circulation and detoxification, enhanced immunity, and improved mental health are just some of the many benefits of water therapy. Dr. Rebecca incorporates this old school naturopathic tradition in her practice to help stimulate her patients’ bodies inherent healing capacity.

Light Therapy
Light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to address a variety of physical, mental, and emotional conditions. By harnessing the therapeutic benefits of natural and artificial light, phototherapy can restore balance to the body and enhance wellbeing. Scientific studies validate the effectiveness of light therapy in improving mood, sleep quality and a variety of other health domains.

Hormone Replacement Therapy
Dr. Rebecca is guided by the philosophy of using the lowest force treatment with the greatest impact making hormone replacement therapy the least common modality prescribed in her practice. Although she typically does not need to use most pharmaceutical medications in her practice, she has found that temporary support of thyroid hormones and/or bioidentical sex hormones can be necessary for those facing acute symptoms.

Mind-Body Medicine
Mind body medicine is a group of therapies that use the mind to influence the body for health and wellness. Improvements in both physical and mental health can be seen by harnessing the mind through a variety of techniques. Dr. Rebecca teaches patients how to integrate nervous system practices into their daily lives. Through the exploration of deeper layers of wounded attachment and unprocessed trauma, brain retraining and nervous system regulation can not only help signal safety and increase stress resilience but also enhance the body’s physiological response to protocols.
